Crop image with vector and edit vector

Recommended Posts

I've been looking for the solution for this for  while.

If i have an image masked by a vector, how can i edit the vector without stretching the image? eg. in illustrator i'd use the node tool and it would only effect the frame, not the content

OK, I think I found the solution if anyone else has the same problem. I've always put the image inside the path, but instead if you put the path above the image with a fill, then right click in the layers panel there's the option of Mask To Below. This will put the vector inside the image as a mask, which if you select individually you are able to edit without effecting the image
