J_Fo
Using iPad Pro + Apple Pencil 2019 Once I have my guides set, I cannot drag them or move them at all. It appears as if they are locked - any help greatly appreciated!
Staff Lee D Posted May 3, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 3, 2019 You need to switch back to the Guides on the Document menu, then when you tap on them they will highlight red and become movable.

Thanks Lee, I should have specified - but that's the bug. I can't move them when in the Guides section of the document window. They appear locked and the only time I see red dotted guides is when I add new ones. I think it must be a bug.
Loupetron
I’m having the same issue, but only for vertical guides. Horizontal guides I can move just fine, but I cannot move the vertical ones. Okay. If I switch back to the Move tool, I can move both vertical And horizontal guides just fine, but not in the Document → Guides mode. Weird. Definitely a bug. Bracht
Having this issue right now. Lost a couple of hours googling and trying to find help online, thinking I must had been dumb. Apparently it’s not me being dumb, but rather a big. Any workarounds? Guides are critical for me to do what I bought the app to do.
davidgall
It’s 2021 and it’s still broken. Come on Affinity. This is not an enhancement, it’s a basic function that needs to be fixed.
