Hi,

I'm new to Affinity photos and not particularly competent with an iMac or computers in general. I have a number of photos which I have already edited on my iMac using Photos which I want to print off and frame, I am wanting to use Affinity Photos to resize the images and add a border, however when I use the extensions to open the chosen photo in Affinity the picture to reverts to the original unedited version. Any ideas what I need to do please? Thank you

Hi Kael Manson,

Welcome to the forums :)

Right click the image in Apple Photos and select Edit With and select Affinity Photo. The version of the image with the adjustments should be passed over to Affinity Photo. When you have finished adjusting use File > Save and this will write back to Photos.

Thanks

Callum

At least with version 3.0 of Apple Photos on my iMac running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, the edited version is not saved back to Photos unless I click the "Save Changes" button at the top right of the Photos edit window:
