ONSO Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Hello, to all. we trust all is well Quick question. How does one remove the magenta outline the surrounds a shape when using the "Node Tool"? We're currently working on our logo & when we use the "Node Tool" we get that outline. Its a real distraction and we would love to turn it off if possible. Hokusai Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 ONSO, I'm not sure if you are talking about the Layer Colour or you have "Snapping" enabled. To change the Layer Colour, you "option click" on the layer in the Layer palette you will see a contextual menu and at the bottom of that contextual menu you will "Properties". If you select that you can change the colour to another colour. To turn off Snapping, just go to "View/Snapping Manager" or click on the Magnet Icon on the context tool bar. Best of Luck, Hokusai Quote
Staff MattP Posted April 30, 2015 Staff Posted April 30, 2015 'Magenta outline' sounds very much like you have 'show snapping candidates' selected on the snapping options page? :) Quote
ONSO Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 All Thanks for the responses. It was "Snapping" one has to uncheck "Snap to object bounding box" & "Snap to object geometry". Once unchecked all little magenta outlines went away. Thanks once again. MattP 1 Quote 15"-inch MacBook Pro, 2017, 2.9GHz Intel Core i7 | 16Gb
