Scroll bars don't hide when the canvas is fit to the window or smaller

Recommended Posts

There's no way to hide the scroll bars. They don't even hide when the canvas size is smaller than the window.

I never click on a scroll bar to move around. The space bar is way more efficient. It'd be great if there's an option to hide the scroll bars entirely.

I don't think this qualifies as a bug. It sounds more like an improvement request, to me.

I agree that it's more of a feature request. Paintshop Pro auto-hides it until needed.

Generally, a bug is something that prevents you from doing something.

That’s a bit of a sweeping statement, Gabe! :o There might be something purely cosmetic, or a typo in a menu that doesn’t actually prevent the option being used, but it would still be a bug (albeit a trivial one). Having said that, I agree that the behaviour under discussion isn’t a bug.

Yep, most of what I wrote should fall into the feature request category, that's why I wrote "It'd be great if there's an option to hide the scroll bars entirely."

I filed it as a bug because the scroll bars hide on mac if the canvas is smaller than the window. I hope it behaves the same on Windows.
