Those pesky little icons ! Wish we had some pop up help on them using the question mark, nice one I’d better read the help again !

Lol, I can barely see them, let alone work out what they do! This one could be really useful though (apart from bug). Also doesn’t mention it in Help file but double tap crosshair on screen to reset position.

I don’t know how I did it but when messing around I got the transform studio to use this external centre point. When it occurred the highlighted white anchor block disappeared ! Unable to repeat so far but I was just tapping around to see if I could turn the transform anchor block off. To me that is a sensible way of working so perhaps it’s a bug that it doesn’t work always.

edit: I also note you can do the one finger modifier to bring some precision into the rotation, constrained to 15 degree steps.

If you drag it across/down off the square it disappears but I find the external rotate point still moves when you use the Transform studio to adjust position.

My Trasform Studio  doesn’t follow the external rotate point, why?

That was the point I was making. It appears to be a bug. When the Show Rotate point is selected and the rotate point is moved, the Transform Studio should (in my opinion) honour the rotate point set by the Show Rotate point icon, but it doesn't. I've posted this on the bug thread to see what the mods say.

As a work around, when rotating an object around the new rotate point, select the handle and place a finger on the screen and the rotation will occur in 15 degree increments. It actually works pretty well.
