A_B_C
Hi there, here’s something to reproduce for you: Create a document, add an artboard of document size, add a shape to the artboard Select the Artboard Tool, resize the artboard Don’t deselect the artboard, but switch to the Move Tool Resize the artboard with the Move Tool Your shape will be resized together with the artboard! Hmm. I don’t think I have seen this before Now try this: Use Undo, deselect the artboard, select it with the Move Tool by clicking the artboard label Resize it with the Move Tool Now the shape will not be resized with the artboard! (Oops, I trimmed my video too aggressively at the end, but:) this is what I would expect Am I just confused, or is that a bug? Fantomasas
There is an option (tick box), in the tool's context menu: Lock Children. It will either transfer artboard transforms or not to the contents of the artboard. A_B_C
A_B_C
Thank you, I am very well aware of that tick box, but I didn’t pay attention, and I think you found the root of the issue. The button is behaving in an erratic way! Select the Artboard Tool, resize an artboard Don’t deselect the artboard, but switch to the Move Tool Lock Children does not get immediately engaged! Why? Is that intended? Deselect the artboard, reselect it with the Move Tool Lock Children is engaged! Please review this behaviour. It is pretty unexpected. At least to me. Thank you, Alex Lock-Children.mov
