dmstraker Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 I know that Place has been tweaked for text and image, but there's a thing I keep tripping over, for which there's a very simple fix. I want to place an image, but I happen to have a text layer selected, so it offers me text placement only. This is understandable, but it's a real pain. The very easy fix is in the drop-down in the file dialogue. As it is, it only offers text files. All you need to do is add an extra option in the drop-down for image files. Thank you so much! It caught me out all day yesterday when I was constantly adding text then images to my document It does not need a drop-down it needs rethinking To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. That will refresh the list of files, and you can choose the one that you want. Or even *.* or simply * will work. Or you can put the leading part of the filename, such as arches* if you know it.
