Help needed regarding drag and drop

Recommended Posts

GolHello,

I’m new to Designer on the iPad and have run into an issue when I drag and drop images from the web using slide over. I can place one image in the document ok,  but when I try to drag a different one in it places the previous image again instead.

Not sure if it’s a bug or if I’m doing something wrong. Any help would be much appreciated....

Hi Gfunk79,

Welcome to the forums!

This sounds like a very odd issue, if possible could you provide a screen recording of this?

Thanks

heres a screen recording of the problem. I’m running the latest version of iOS and Affinity on an iPad 6th gen. I know my post was originally about Designer, but as you can see the same problem occurs in Photo too. It doesn’t happen with any other apps.

To start or finish a recording, swipe down from the top right-hand corner of the screen to display the Control Centre, and then tap on the Record icon.

Your iPad has screen recording built in. In iOS settings go to Control Centre and add it. To use it open and run Designer, swipe down and across from top right of screen (to open Control Centre), then tap the circle button in Control Centre . It turns red when recording. Touch screen outside Control Centre to close window. Your actions on Designer Screen (or any other open screen) are now being recorded. To stop recording, swipe again to open Control Centre and tap the red button. recording stops and the video file is saved to photo library.

You can attach this vide to your post. Best to keep recording short, max of 1.5mins, or they get too big to upload. :)

EDIT: lol, you gotta be quick posting here, two replies as I wrote this. Well you should be able to work out How now. xD
