Crash when trying to import text styles

Recommended Posts

If I want to import text styles from another APub document, the program crashes. The import dialog box appears for a moment, then the program closes without a message.

My Specs:
- Processor: AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz- RAM: 8 GB
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
- Monitor: SyncMaster F2380 (resolution 1920x1080)
- Operating system: Windows 10 Pro (1803) / 64 bit

Is the source file open or closed at the time?

Can you provide the source file for the text styles?

Does this happen when importing into a new blank document? If so can you save a blank new document and provide that too. If not can you provide the destination file that crashes when you import the text styles?

Thank you, @Joachim_L. I'm sorry I missed that.

It works with @Joachim_L's workaround. I suspect that this is not intended and that importing will also work with closed documents in the future.

Maybe one can unite these two threads.

FWIW, same behaviour experienced here - including workaround, thanks for posting!

In my case I'm editing pre-existing AD files.
