Compound Shapes in Symbols always Add

Recommended Posts

  1. Create a shape.
  2. Create a symbol from this shape.
  3. Within this symbol create a second shape.
  4. Create a Subtract compound from the two shapes.

Result: Subtract compound is correctly created in the active symbol, but the duplicate creates an Add compound.

Same operation works in 1.6.5 (although it doesn't update the display until something on the canvas is moved).
