Font style choices Please.   ( Blossom and the Dragon )

Blossom is a Furry Equine Clyony Species. I personally Invented the word for the new species, for my written novel series. Her body sports a more furry Clydesdale horse like style.
The Dragon is Skyler a creature in the story.

I don't know much about Font Rules.. However I do not want to get Sued by the font owner.. Personally I do not mind paying for the license to use the font . However there are limitations restrictions and rules.

I'm considering Designing my Own Font Style like I did for my Trademark..

the color background what do you think o.k. Needs Improvement .

Alex Blue Bird Sketch Style of my Characters. combined with my tweaks in the design Alex Blue Birds Color style.
Alex Blue Bird Illustration Skills is Shattering EPIC !
Should I use my Full name or The initial and use my last name. What do you think ?

Do you have a particular reason for moving away from the Fluffy Slacks BTN font that you used previously?

Whatever font you choose, it should be fairly easy to check whether or not it’s free for commercial use.

That’s very much down to personal preference! If you find it impossible to choose between ‘Laurie Ann Garland’, ‘Laurie A. Garland’, ‘L.A. Garland’ or ‘L. Garland’, you could do worse than opt to use your pseudonym ‘Laurie Doodles’.

I would recommend FoglihtenNo07Alt, which a free font available on Font Squirrel.

A good suggestion. You can find FoglihtenNo07 herealso quite like the look of some of the other GLUK fonts shown on that page.

Edit: I only see FoglihtenNo07, not the ‘Alt’ variant, on Font Squirrel.

Well there are probably two otf fonts inside those zip-archives, see also.

ver.0.841 with new initial forms, and new ligatures.
And with additional new font FoglihtenNo07calt - version with initial and terminal alternates as default (contextual alternates), and alternate "r" (from stylisticSet02).

There’s only the original font on Font Squirrel, but thanks for the link! The DaFont listing was updated two years later with the newer version (‘calt’, not ‘Alt’) which is also included in the download from FontSpace.

Google is nice enough to share tons of fonts:

They're all under the open font license:

Some are released under the Apache License, Version 2.0, not the SIL Open Font License. Both allow you to redistribute the original font or a modified version of it, but the SIL OFL requires that any derivative versions are released under the same licensing conditions as the original font. The Apache License allows you to provide additional or different license terms and conditions for your modifications.
