Replace a pdf-file

Hi,

I want to make a printshit with many cards.

So I replace the pdf-file out of publisher with trimmarks in publisher again.

The trimmarks are lost and I would like to have importoptions to select the file.

I try to place the file in InDesign and it worked perfect.

Do you have any solution?

It works for me. Did you make sure that the "include printers marks" box was ticked in the Export Settings and the boxes for the setting you want to appear in the PDF were also ticked? If they all were then I'm not sure why they shouldn't have appeared in the output PDF.

The PDF is complete with trimmarks.

When I place the PDF in Publisher again,

for example to create a printshit with many PDF, the trimmarks are lost.

Could you attach a copy of the PDF you are trying to import and a screenshot showing the results of what Publisher gives you when you import please?

Ok Sean, I copy the printing PDF and a Publisherfile with the placed PDF.

It is possible to have Importoptionen when I placed files?

I could not placed the backside of the card.

Hi Ibyd,

This can already be done - by default Placed PDFs are placed cropped to the TrimBox, however this can be changed so other boxes such as the MediaBox can be set. You can also control which page of the PDF is displayed. See attached screenshot.
