RPC Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 I'd like to request an eraser tool like the one found in Clip Studio Paint for vector curves. pyxelles, Zekez, Celia at Grafted Works and 7 others 10
Dazmondo77 Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 YES if doable - I use this feature all time in CSP - also use the scale line widths brush all the time where you paint over areas of lines to thicken or make thinner - I would imagine this would need some major dev time so maybe be something to consider for ver 2+ Untitled_2.mov randomjames, Zekez and k.surreal 3 Mac Pro Cheese-grater (Early 2009) 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Ram, Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5, Ugee 19" Graphics Tablet Monitor Triple boot via OCLP 2.2.0 - Mac OS Monterey 12.7.6, Sonoma 14.7.3 and Mojave 10.14.6 Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo 1.10.5 - 2.6.2 Betas 2.6. www.bingercreative.co.uk
kconkling Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I would also like a vector eraser...!! gw_westdale, k.surreal and Capocha 3
BDAnimal Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 I agree, please implement this. I was just starting to sit down and learn these applications and was shocked when there wasn't a vector eraser. gw_westdale and k.surreal 2
sbyseven Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 I would also like a vector eraser, it is a basic tool! k.surreal and pyxelles 2
k.surreal Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 This software is pretty nice. I have been searching for an Adobe replacement for two years. I am about a week in with the trial. Each day I have searched for an ERASER?! It is how I achieve unique lines and shapes, instantly. It is nearly as important as the pen and brush tools themselves. I am hoping to end my search for design software, but I need this simple tool so it does not take me forever to design things. XO pyxelles 1
ReaABT Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Yeah this is a basic tool that's missing, which makes things really frustrating. I've used both separating nodes and eleting separated segments and also the erase layer blend mode but that's a very different thing pyxelles 1
gw_westdale Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Vector erase to alter shapes would be great -- not just as a quick shaper but to create apparent interweaving layers using " A-B-Acopy then erase-the-copy-layer" technique. aforetaste Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Yes, please! Vector erase would be very helpful.
