lbyd
Hi, I am just designing a springcard for my printing company. A qr-code would be nice. Is there a way to generate it? Can I print files which I generate in Publisher? That would be a great opportunity to get experience how the PDF out of Publisher are working. Thanks for an answer maranatha91 and oscarlosan
Staff Patrick Connor Posted April 13, 2019 Staff Share Posted April 13, 2019 This will not be part of Affinity Publisher 1.7 but there's lots of websites where you can generate an image, in any number of QR-code formats, for free. Then insert the image Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program! MikeW
There is no QR-code generator inside of APub. There are plenty of on-line paces and standalone applications to do so. PDFs from Affinity applications print just fine. Generate a PDF and review it in Acrobat or Adobe Reader. Patrick Connor

spinko
It is just much more convenient to do it inside the app (ditto ID CC).
fde101
This strikes me as a great example of something that would hopefully be simple to provide with a plugin if an API/SDK is ever released... Rob007
Swift Publisher ($30) has a very good QR and bar code generator built into the desktop app. I used it frequently as part of my workflow before upgrading to Affinity Publisher. Sadly, I now need to use both publishers to create our 4800 simple tourism display boards that we publish annually. Now a much greater chance of human error in this workflow. Please please strive to integrate a QR generator into AP. oscarlosan

Integrating this into an affinity product should be easy. Please considering adding barcode generation in one of the Affinity products soon. oscarlosan
