Hi Risha, check the context menu controller is not set to None. Use Pressure, Brush defaults or Automatic and choose brush with pressure setting.

Нажим = pressure. Context menu controller is NOT set to none. Please, look at the screenshots.

Скорость = velocity.

I tried everything. And I watched all the training videos on the official site.

Sorry, not familiar with language used in images.

Try painting a line with a brush that has pressure setting and with Pressure selected in context menu. Now change to Move tool and select the line you drew. Now open Stroke studio and see whether any pressure changes were recorded.

When I stop to correct the line and choose the vector brush again I see a flat line of pressure settings and recommendation: “ drag markers to adjust pressure”. What markers? How can I do it??

You need to make sure the line is selected.

It’s clear ) but I can’t use the app in this way all the time. I want it works automatically with brush settings. I’m a painter. I want to choose vector brush with already set pressure settings. As I saw on the official website. Have a thought?)

Understood. That’s the way it should work, and I don’t know why it isn’t working that way for you.

Hi Risha, I'm sure there is a reason for this we just need to find out what it is through a process of elimination. :)

Could you try one of the other default brushes that have Pressure stated in their names and after drawing a line check the stroke studio for pressure points.

The stroke studio allows use to select the Pencil tool and adjust the line shape with stroke studio pressure points. The pencil then remembers these settings for future lines.

Here though we are just using it to see if your brush has registered any pressure. If the line is straight and at the top of the graph, no pressure recorded. If your brush (Apple Pencil) is responding to pressure sensitivity then you should see a wiggly line in the stroke studio as per my earlier picture.

Brush settings control sensitivity by adjusting the amount of variation. For example a solid brush shows little change with pressure. Now if you tap More in context menu you will see Size Variance (change in line thickness with pressure) is set to zero. Change it to 100% and the change in line thickness with pressure changes too. See video.

You may need to try and few different brushes (free brushes are in the Resources thread on this forum) to find ones that work well with pressure, or adjust settings to suit your preferences.
