TEcHNOpls
Hi, when rasterizing a layer I need to Rasterize and Trim, otherwise the rasterized layer is moved (this messes the layers above it for example). 1. Here you can see two layers, each of these is insiaa a rectangle object. 2. After rasterizing the left layer, you can see it's moved. 3. And this is how it looks after rasterize and trim operation. 4. The highlighted layer is the one I rasterize "I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK, I sleep all night, and I work all day..." Rick G
[RANT] Amen, +1. If you right cliok on the layer OR the picture OR chose "rasterize and trim" from the menu, ... there it is and you have to do it for every single picture you have to trim. And because of the wonderful brainstorm if you trim it then copy it to past elsewhere, you now get the ENTIRE UNTRIMMED PIC. It is the single worst time wasting work flow interruption they have yet come up with.It would have made a wonderful OPTION either under preferences or a check box on the tool bar I have asked but they stay strangely slent about it. Rally who decided that when we crop something, we really don't mean it? Again a sticky checkbox on the tool bar that offers "trip" would have been a good solution for those who want it [\RANT] Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.1.2212Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
TEcHNOpls
Actually, for me it makes more sense at is now. Rasterize should save whole layer info, rasterize&trim should leave only visible portion of the layer. The only issue I have that rasterized layer should stay put in place. Staff Chris B Posted April 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted April 9, 2019 We've had a few internal builds since you guys got .284. I cannot reproduce this on the build I have. Would you mind trying to reproduce it whenever Mark releases the next Windows build and let me know how you get on, please? Chris, please ask if they can make a check box on the tool bar or do SOMETHING so that it can be set on the fly and remember where it is set? TEcHNOpls
Seems to be fixed in latest beta. BUT, you can update the history to show which command was used, right now it's always "rasterize".
