Crash trying to Find an Index Mark

Recommended Posts

Scenario:

  1. Open Publisher, create a new document and add a Text Frame, with text. And add an Index Mark to a word. (index-crash.afpub file attached)
  2. Position the text cursor immediately after the index mark. Hold shift key and arrow-left once to try to select the index mark. Ctrl+C to copy it.
  3. Open the Find and Replace panel.
  4. Paste (Ctrl+V) whatever was copied in step 2 into the Find box.
  5. Immediate crash. Repeatable.

I have several crash reports (.dmp files), but as (I believe) Publisher automatically submits them I'm not sure if you need me to provide one here or to the Serif dropbox.

It will also crash, at least for me, if I accidentally insert an index into the body of text and try an undo.

Before I wrote about adding marks to the find panel, I also crashed doing what you describe here.

My computer is a nothing-special Toshiba laptop with unremarkable specs running Windows 10 64-bit.
