jdomainer
Is there a way to enlarge the icons in the workspace, tools and panels (especially layer panel icons- they're too small)? I can change the resolution of my monitor, which will enlarge the whole Affinity photo program window- including the icons. But lowering the resolution of my monitor and switching back and forth isn't practical for using my other applications. Please see attachment. Thank you, jd
Gear maker
jdomainer, the beta version has the capability to enlarge the layer icons. It can be downloaded from the Affinity Beta Software portion of the forum. I believe there is no way to change tool sizes. Hello @jdomainer, the Beta version can be installed parallel to the customer version. Remember, all files created or edited with the Beta are not compatible with the customer version, the file format has changed. This only applies to the file extension( filename.afphoto........ Affinity own file format ) Cheers Quote Affinity Photo 2.4: Affinity Photo 1.10.6: Affinity Designer 2.4: Affinity Designer 1.10.6: Affinity Publisher 2.4: Affinity Publisher 1.10.6: Windows 11 Pro (Version 23H2 Build (22631.3447)

This means that TIFF files exported from the beta may or may not be compatible with other software the user is using, depending on the capabilities of that other softare with respect to understanding different TIFF compression options. Gnobelix
Hello @walt.farrell, thanks for the hint. I could so far, the Tiff files created with the beta 1.7 could be opened with other programs like PS, Gimp, Affinity-Photo (customer version) etc. But with the restriction, that the saved affinity-layers, be ignored in the mentioned programs.
