I am curious about the utility of latex editor functionality included in the affinity publisher or we have to find external app for this requirement?

Can you elaborate more on what you are looking for?  I used latex to publish a book on cellular radio frequency mathematics for wireless design engineers.  Can you describe the use case for how you think this would work?

There is no LaTeX support in Publisher at this time.

I would like to use financial or statistical formula equations in the publishing work.

The first step with equations would be to support MathType created eps files with text references (typically to Times New Roman, Symbol, etc., without font embedding). I have noticed that basically only equations containing mere graphics are imported correctly in current versions of Publisher and Designer.

This would at least allow using Publisher for creating scientific publications.
