Color Integrity on Export_URGENT!

Recommended Posts

Hello All!

I am not a graphic design and I do not have any experience with design programs.  I have been learning since last fall.  I am helping with the day of paper for a friends wedding on May 11th and need to have her signs done ASAP.  I have completed the design with clip art and font.  When I export I am noticing a huge color difference that is not acceptable - sometimes it exports correctly other times it does not.  I have tried reading forums, but I can't resolve this.  Can someone please help!

First Image: Color in Affinity Design,  Second Image: Color on Export (Jpeg and PDF -it's all the same) - also attached a third image where it did export correctly at some point.

I have tried opening them in different programs and have not noticed a difference.  I use the Dell XPS15 with windows.

Hi, welcome to the Affinity forums.

I don't know the direct answer to your question but I suspect it would be a good idea to attach your original AD file here, along with FULL details of your export settings for both pdf and jpg .   Doing that will enable others to check your file and/or settings on their machines.

N.B.  I think that since you are a "New Member" you may not be able to attach any file to the forum so you may need to make it available via a file-download site like Dropbox, or similar.

Hi -

I attached the original file of another project.  I have attached exports in PDFs RGB, and CMYK not allowing for compression and JPEG RGB-8 bit. You can see its comes our much more florescent, and then for the PDF RGB its much more musty.  Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to maintain the color integrity upon export.

Thanks,

Janelle
