Nadia_nair
Hey, I would like to know if is there any option on Affinity Publisher to change the name of the PDF on tab. For example, when we open the exported PDF in Google Chrome it has a name on Tab ("paper_taxis"), but if we open on Adobe Acrobat it shows the pdf name on tab ("Paper_BusTickets_PT_compressed"). We need to have a way to change that name. Is there any option to do that ? Waiting for your feedback. Best regards, Nádia Nair
Staff Callum Posted April 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted April 4, 2019 Hi Nadia_nair, Welcome to the forums This isn't really something we have any control over I'm afraid. Google look at the file name and choose the tab name from that the only way to change this name would be to rename the file as far as I'm aware. C The OP asked about Publisher (though in the wrong forum; perhaps this topic should be moved). In Publisher, which has the Fields panel, one can set the Subject value for a PDF file, and Chrome will use that as the tab name. (This topic should perhaps be moved to the Publisher beta forums.) Perhaps Serif will consider adding that capability to Photo and Designer, too, at some point?
