chose the type of blur to apply: Gaussian, Median or Bilateral, since each as a different effect on the edges.

It is possible apply as Live Filters.

This request is a good idea.

It might also be interesting to consider allowing different radius options to be selected for each color channel?

I don't understand how you can use a Live filter with Frequency Separation. Can you let me know? Thank you

Add Live filter (Gausian Blur, Bilateral Blur, ...):

Edit: But you probably thought for the type of image separation :-)

However, Live filters could be used to create a own Frequency separation.
The advantage would be the possibility of adjusting the parameters, and possibly using several types of blur that could be applied to the specific parts of the image by masking.

I second the request. Frequency separation is a very wide used technique, but it works really bad with gaussian blur. Median blur or Dust&sratches filter work so much better. PLEASE add the option of choosing blur method!
