setting template or default size for text frames

Is there a way to make a template or set an automatic default size for text frames? I have to change the size of my text frames throughout the book and it is pretty difficult to get them each to conform to the same size if I am going one by one. Any advice? Thanks.

If you create a text frame on a master page and apply it to the pages you should be able to resize and move the master page text frame and have it reflected in the applied pages. You can have multiple master pages if you need multiple standard text frames.

Alternatively, if your text frames are not always at the same position on each page you can save your text frames as assets at the size(s) you want and drag and position them onto the page as and when needed
