AT.HA Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Hi, I am designing a corporate signature (mark+logotype). The Logotype is converted in curves. The Mark is a geometric design using Outer Shadows and Gradient Overlays. I am facing two problems: 1) When I scale down the signature (as a group) for test its scale resistance the shadows do not stay in place. Is there a way to prevent this? Lock the shadows to stay in place no matter the scale changes? 2) When I export this signature to PDF and open it with Apple Preview everything is out of place (looks like a car crash ,-) If I open th PDF with Affinity Designer it look ok. Looks like a problem with Apple Preview. Maybe this a knowned problem and I am not aware of it?! Should I use Adobe PDF reader again and suggest it to my client to prevent viewing problems? Thanks for your help. Regards. (Affinity Designer 1.6.1/Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6) Quote

If this document is not able to be uploaded here for commercial reasons, you could ask a mod to look at it they have a dropbox space for these reasons. Staff stokerg Posted April 2, 2019 Staff Posted April 2, 2019 Hi AT.HA, If you'd like to upload the PDF and afdesign file to our private dropbox account here I'll be happy to make sure Designer isn't doing anything wrong when creating the PDF Quote
AT.HA Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 Thanks a lot for your offer. I am redesigning everything. I will share it if needed (using the private link). Quote

firstdefence Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Suppose the question would be why and when wouldn't you scale an effect?
