When I used to use Illustrator way back, i recall there was a "scissors tool" that let you cut say a line into two parts, where one object would become two objects.

I see a crop tool but not a scissors tool in affinity designer.

How can I do this (simulate the sissors tool)in affinity designer?

Use cutting a vector line into two parts as a demo simple example.

Hi kalinoaj,
With the Node Tool selected, select/click the node where you want to cut the path (or create a new one where you want to cut the path if there's none there), then go to the context toolbar and click the Break Curves button in the Action section (it's the first icon).
