jc4d
Hi all, I noticed that the Gamma over levels adjustment layer has a max limit of 2, while working on 32 bit you need a gamma of 2.2 when importing assets that are not in linear mode. Staff Chris B Posted April 1, 2019 Staff Share Posted April 1, 2019 Hey Juan, We automatically convert imported images to your current document colour profile (which is linear in 32 bit) and that includes the gamma transform, so you shouldn't need to use a Levels Adjustment for an additional gamma transform. Are you finding this is not the case? If so, can you supply a sample or example of what you are doing. jc4d
Hi Chris B, You are right, it was an oversight from my side, the assets are imported correctly. On the other hand, it is a little bit odd that the gamma is set to max 2 although Windows monitors uses a gamma of 2.2 and MacOS 1.8, so setting the Windows value is not possible.
