anto76 Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Hello everyone, I open a photoshop file with multiple layers. Some of them are "vector" layers which is really useful e.i. for mockup. But when I open my psd files on affinity photo, the vector layer is a pixel layer which I can't open on a new file and change it. Is there is a way ? Something I did wrong ? Should I save my photoshop file in an other format ? and this question will come with photoshop 3D layers as well Thanks in advance to share your experience. Anto. Quote
Staff stokerg Posted April 1, 2019 Staff Posted April 1, 2019 Hi anto76 and Welcome to the Forums, These vectors layers, are they Smart Objects in Photoshop? Just we can't currently read/support the smart objects so have to rasterize them on import. I suspect it will be the same with a 3D layer as well. Quote
anto76 Posted April 1, 2019 Author Posted April 1, 2019 Hi Thank you for your answers. Yes it's smart object. I said vector, because on french version of photoshop they called it "vector" instead of "smart". I think to make affinity as a real option to photoshop, it's to be smart object compatibility. Quote
