As far as I know you would place the cursor right behind the anchor an hit 'Backspace' (on Windows). You have to make sure that anchors are visible. Then you see the effect. Basically the cursor doesn't move if one tabs across an anchor. I make this due to the relatively new introduction of anchors into the software.
