Remove Anchor From Text?

How do I remove an anchor from text without deleting the text?

As far as I know you would place the cursor right behind the anchor an hit 'Backspace' (on Windows). You have to make sure that anchors are visible. Then you see the effect.

Edit: you can also place the cursor right before the anchor and hit 'Delete'. This should work on a Mac as well.

Thanks, that works on the Mac too. Seems it might make more sense if the Anchor graphic could be selected.

This is true. Basically the cursor doesn't move if one tabs across an anchor. I make this due to the relatively new introduction of anchors into the software. They will be more polished after a while (that is my hope :) )
