App will not run after installation on Win10

I'm getting the attached error message when trying to launch Affinity app on Win10. I just bought it and downloaded it from the Windows store. Have so far tried uninstall/reinstall and still getting the same message.

Hi, welcome to the Affinity forums.

I quickly googled your error message; the results page is here.  I am by by no means a computer expert so would not be prepared to make any recommendation about which, if any, of the suggested "remedies" you should follow, but I did notice at least one article by Microsoft support which might be helpful?

Hi @scb2002,

Welcome to the forums. 

I suggest you contact Microsoft directly, as we have no control over their sandboxed Store system. The installation and licensing process are handled by the MS Store, and unfortunately, we cannot troubleshoot these.

Thanks everyone, Mark's link to the SQL Server fix did the trick after loading all 3 service packs. I didn't even know I had SQL Server running on this machine before I ran into this issue but turns out another application that I installed a couple of years ago loaded it along with its install.
