I am happy that I discovered this application. It is truly wonderful and I will be happy to purchase it in the future.

I have a question: I have used in InDesign a command to place a PDF page (or any other vector graphic) and than if that file was updated, upon opening the document in InDesign there is a question to confirm if you want to update that file into the document. That would be wonderful. Sometimes I update (render to PDF) one or more pages in another software, than I need to re-upload all pages (even cropped) in the Publisher. Any idea how to get that linked?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

You have a choice when you create a Publisher document of embedding or linking Placed documents. Or, later, you can use the Resource Manager or Document Setup to change your choice.

If you have chosen to link a document rather than embedding it, then Publisher will notify you if the linked document is changed, and let you update it. You also have a choice, via Preferences, for performing the updates automatically.

Is this feature available in Photo as well? We run into this often in interior design where we use a pdf print of our floor plans from Revit and render on top of them in Affinity Photo. Those plans tend to be changed and updated frequently and it becomes very cumbersome to replace the pdf each time. I used to be a Photoshop user and there was this same feature where a delta would alert you to refresh your pdf link without having to replace it each time.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

If you mean Linking, vs Embedding files, that  option is only available in Publisher or documents whose document settings have been updated in Publisher to "Prefer Linked". Even then, neither Photo nor Designer has the full support, but they can detect (as you Open a document) whether any of the Linked files have been updated, and give you the option at that time of invoking the Resource Manager so you can update the local copies of the files. But that's the only time the Resource Manager is available.

Other than that, Photo and Designer support only Embedding.

It's a good reason to also own Publisher, and one reason to work as much as possible in Publisher, using the Designer or Photo Personas as appropriate, unless you need one of the other Personas from the Photo and Designer applications that Publisher does not support.
