bluekat
I manipulate the image, then copy and paste it into a new document so that I can resize and position the image on the page for printing. When I print, it shows a faint edge or border. There is no border or edge in the document (even zoomed in, none appears). I tried cropping the image, just in case there was a microscope border I had not cut off, but same result. If I print the image directly (not the pasted-into-document version) then no edge prints. But then I have no option to position the image where I need it on the paper. How can I get rid of this edge? I am using Mac Desktop version and Canon Pro 100 printer. Staff Dan C Posted March 28, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 28, 2019 Hi bluekat, Welcome to the forums As Psenda has mentioned above, your image and it's location may not be in whole pixels, so when printing you are seeing an edge on the image as the app must print by whole pixels. If you wish, you can upload a copy of your Affinity file here and we can check this for you! Staff Dan C Posted January 8, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 8, 2020 Hi isaac77598, Welcome to the forums I can see the background pixel layer extends beyond the edge of your canvas, so I'm currently unsure of the reason for this - although it may be a transparency related issue. Could you please try printing the file again, but this time in the print dialog please select the Rasterisation tab, and tick Clip Transparency, then print your file again - Please do let me know if this helps!
