Hey everyone! I am getting ready to purchase Affinity Designer finally and I was just curious about this.

Is it possible to rotate your canvas while working on windows desktop? I'm sure you can on an ipad or something but I was hoping there is still a way to do this on the pc.

Let me know please!

Thanks...

You can on Mac with a trackpad.

On Windows if you convert the canvas to an Artboard that can be rotated.

On a Macs, there is a Tools preference to enable freely rotating the view of the canvas to any angle with a trackpad gesture, but for those not using a trackpad or not wanting that gesture to do anything, there is also on the View menu Rotate Left, Rotate Right, & Reset Rotation. The first two rotate 15° at a time & the third resets the view to 0°.

I am not sure but I think the Windows versions also have those 3 menu items.

on a Mac desktop using version 1.8 it seems that I cannot rotate a canvas (in the works - not just for viewing) I cannot select maybe 3% left like you can in Photoshop. No trackpad, just mouse... Thanks Richard
