Joe Crickets Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 I recently made a mock-up for a web home page with Affinity Designer and the .afdesign file reached the size of 280.8 MB, which is a very large dimension for such a file. The images in it have small dimensions, so what shall I do to reduce the size? I enclose a pdf of the file. Thank you wireframe sito 2.pdf Quote
Staff Lee D Posted March 26, 2019 Staff Posted March 26, 2019 Hi Joe, Welcome to the forums. The large file sizes happen because our file format is optimised for loading speed rather than size. If you have made any Snapshots or have Save History with Document enabled on the File menu. These can add to the overall file size, snapshots can be deleted if not needed and if you don't need to revert back to a previous step the history can be disabled. Quote
Joe Crickets Posted March 26, 2019 Author Posted March 26, 2019 Hi Lee, thank you for the answer, where can I delete the snapshots? Compliments for the software, it works well, I just need to make some practice... Quote

If it is not already open, open the Snapshots panel from the View menu > Studio submenu. Select the snapshot in the panel & click on the trashcan icon. Joe Crickets Posted March 26, 2019 Author Posted March 26, 2019 I did it, but the panel is empty, there's no snapshot to delete. Quote
Joe Crickets Posted March 26, 2019 Author Posted March 26, 2019 Ok it works, thanks a lot R C-R! Quote
