marcvanderpeet12
Dear all, I drafted a simple form in Affinity. For example: Obviously, my real document is a little more sophisticated but this is just for example purposes :). What I want to do know now is to create several of these files with different names and addresses. So I am looking for a way in which I can merge an Affinity file with an Excel doc. So let's say I have an Excel file with: Name, Address Henk, Applestreet1 Josh, Bananastreet1 Then I am looking for a way to define my name section as a name section and address section as an address section. And then I am looking for a macro-ish thing which allows me to place an Excel file and a template in one folder. After which I can create a "filled up" version of the template (based on the information in the Excel file. Is there anybody who can tell how I can achieve this in Affinity. carl123
See if this workaround for a simple data merge helps (using Publisher) https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/75332-dynamic-text-in-publisher/&do=findComment&comment=393091 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
