grigoryvp
Hello! I have a large 1904x1252 retina screenshot opened in Affinity Photo for mac, the text in the screenshot looks high detail, see screenshot1.png. But after I click "Export Persona" to export some parts of the screenshot, the image becomes highly pixelated, see screenshot2.png Exported slices are also pixelated
Staff stokerg Posted March 21, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 21, 2019 Hi grigoryvp and Welcome to the Forums, I've tried replicating this and can't. Does it happen as soon as you switch the Export Persona or when you draw out the slice? Could you attach the afphoto file for this so i can look into this further? grigoryvp
This "pixelation" happens instantly as I open the .png screenshot and switch to the export persona. What kind of computer (hardware and OS version) are you using while trying to replicate the issue? I'm using late 2018 15" macbook pro with latest OSX and Affinity Photo versions. Attached are the screenshot i'm opening and resulting .afphoto file. Screenshot 2019-03-22 at 11.46.10.afphoto

Staff MEB Posted March 22, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 22, 2019 Hi grigoryvp, In Photo Persona, go to menu Document ▸ Resize Document, set the DPI to 72 and untick Resample, then press Resize. It should then display correctly in Export Persona. Alternatively install the latest Affinity Photo Customer Beta.
