Remove background from an eps logo, so that the logo can be exported transparently

Wow this EPS is epically convoluted, surely nobody actually spent time creating this document this way.

You would be better off just drawing shapes with the donut tool and adding a white stroke and picking colours on the red to make the gradient for the red circles

Thank you very much for your attention. I was trying to get rid of the back which seemed to me the most logical thing to do if not experienced.

Also searched in the manual.
So it will not work as I had hoped. Good that I now know this because of you.
Go look on youtube with the help you have given me, hope I will find out a little bit soon how I can make it.
