Add/Subract selection via Layers menu

Recommended Posts

Adding/Subtracting selection via the layers menu would be great to see. At this time I cannot select more than one layer's contents, I'm not even sure it it's possible in Photo either as I've run in to this scenario as well. If anyone has a good tutorial on how to do this would be awesome.

If you are talking about creating a marching ants type of selection by Ctrl + Click on an object in the Layers Panel, then I think you are right that there is no easy way to add to that selection.

I know of one work around, which is to put all the objects yo want to select into a Group or Layer so that you are only need to make a single selection.

I think this is now available in the 1.7 betas, using  Ctrl + Shift + Click on objects in the Layers Panel

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
