When Placing RTF File, Paragraph Styles Are Lost If They Begin With Square Brackets

When placing an RTF file into a text frame using File > Place, paragraph styles where the style name begins with square brackets are lost.  See below screenshots and attached test file.

Sorry for the delayed reply. 

I could not reproduce this in the latest build, on Windows. There is a different issue on Mac at the moment, where the Italic attribute is ignored. Can you please check it again and confirm if it's still an issue?
