jameslbirke Posted March 17, 2019 Share Posted March 17, 2019 After I save an image and open the folder in which I saved it I don't see a thumbnail of the image. All I see is the affinity photo logo. I have a few that show a thumbnail of the image with the affinity photo logo located in the lower right-hand corner of the thumbnail. How do I get this to happen every time I save an image? carl123 Posted March 18, 2019 Share Posted March 18, 2019 On my Windows (ver 8.1) when you create a new document in Affinity then save it, the thumbnail showing in File Manager is the Affinity logo not a thumbnail of the image. To get the image thumbnail to show you must also close the document in Affinity, whereupon the image thumbnail is updated automatically. This only occurs the first time you save a new document. If under "image" you mean Affinity source file *.afphoto, then Preferences, General, Save thumbnails with documents? Or other "image" file, like png / jpg / tiff, so it is a matter of OS.
