Aaron Huddlestun
I'm a new user. I'm following along in the first tutorial, Getting Started. Forgive the incorrect terminology... If I open an image and choose black and white, then crop, I cannot see a result when I attempt to use the Inpainting tool. It seems to go through the motions (blue status bar moving from left to right), but there is no red effect when I drag the cursor over the object I would like to remove. This all works if I choose Inpainting first. Same for the Vingette effect. If I choose the Vignette first, I can do it. Otherwise it will not show on the image. firstdefence
Make sure you have the image layer selected when inpainting and not the black and white adjustment layer. Selecting the image layer will also include the adjustment layer but the priority will be the image layer so go ahead and try inpainting.
