TheBestJeremy Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 I've watched the tutorials on soft proofing, however when I use the gamut check I get black areas in my photo. But in the tutorials the areas out of the gamut range are always greyed out. So what does blacked out mean? I'm using a printer profile I downloaded that a local Costco uses. Thanks, -Jeremy Quote
Staff stokerg Posted March 18, 2019 Staff Posted March 18, 2019 Hi TheBestJeremy, If you click Document>Convert Format/ICC profile and change the format from 32 to either 16 or 8 and then try soft proofing again, it should follow the tutorial and now show as grey. Quote
TheBestJeremy Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Thanks stokerg, that worked. Is there a way to soft proof in RAW Develop Persona? I like to do all my editing in RAW and then develop and export without anymore adjustments. If I do any adjustments in Photo Persona they are minor tweaks or just some filter effect. Thanks again Quote
