Minna Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 dear affinity user, I'm a beginner and I would like to ask for a little help. I'm using a black and white Foto for a poster layout. Finally it looks more bright than the original psd document I've loaded. I couldn't find the reason why, or I'm mistaken? Thank you for help! M Quote
v_kyr Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Hi, hard to tell without seeing comparison screenshots of that b&w image and knowing which Affinity app is used. Since that way one can only guess here, I would check for any probably with that image associated icc color profiles. Maybe it uses an embedded profile or none and then gets one associated etc. which then might give that visual effect. Minna Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Hi, thank's for your helpful reply, I'm going to take a look at the data of the image. Quote
Minna Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 the file I was using was quite small (jpg 120dpi) - I took the psd file now (300dpi) and everything is fine! Quote
