File crashed while saving copy

Hi,

I was trying to save a copy of my file onto the iCloud when the app crashed. Now the file preview image is blank and the file won't load (it says "loading failed - unable to load document" ). Ironically, I was saving all my files onto the cloud to ensure that if something went wrong, I would have a backup file. If I hadn't done anything, the file would still be here! Do I have any hope of recovering this file?

@DM1 yes it does but it's a blank image right now. 

@Callum I can't seem to get the file off my iPad. When I try to export it by dragging it into my Files, the file never loads.  Is this a lost cause?
