someguy
I see that hyperlinks are an option now in publisher. I often design resumes in designer - any plans to bring the hyperlinks functionality to designer or make it available in the persona? Would it be possible to open a designer document in publisher to add the hyperlinks and export as pdf? transitdiagrams
walt.farrell
I have no idea whether Serif will add hyperlinks to Designer, but I doubt they will. You can certainly open a .afdesign file using Publisher, work on it, and export. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
thomasbricker
I reinforce this request. Designer needs to have the ability to add hyperlinks to type and elements so when the layout is exported to a screen pdf it functions correctly. Its silly that it doesn’t. I’m doing a project that requires this ability and I was forced to use Apple Pages to do it. Its 2019! Please add this function.
