Karvi
I have opened a multi-layer SVG file. Each layer has the layer name and then the word "Curve" or "Curves" in grey text after the name. I am trying to move nodes within certain layers.I select the layer, the node tool and the node. Dragging does nothing. The nodes will not move. I can add new nodes along a path, but they won't move either. I can select a node and then get bezier handles to change curvature of a path, but I can't move the nodes themselves. The layers are not locked. SF1
Karvi
Resolved. I restarted macos and now I can move the nodes. I don't know what caused the issue, but it works now.
SF1
I’m having the same issue. Cannot move modes around to adjust curves/expanded strokes on text converted to curves. Going to see if restarting helps fix it.
gdenby
What app is generating the .svg? While I've found reference to "multi-layer" .svgs, they have all been seen as a single layer of either grouped or individual curve(s) in AD. Can you offer a screen cap of the AD layers panel w. the layers of the file opened? SF1
I already trashed the file, but I was attempting to move nodes after expanding the stroke on text—when I expanded it left white space between the text fill and the stroke, and I was attempting to eliminate the white space.
