[Solved] Option to disable returning to previous tool than pressing on tool key second time. [There is already such option]

Recommended Posts

This behaviour for me is distratful and unwanted. Then i am selecting my tools i ocasionally press tool i need even if it is already selected and than i end up with another preveously selected tool that is of course the tool i did not wanted. This behaviour is bad for me.

It should be optional, so i hope you will add an option to disable such controversial behaviour.

Such an option exists in the 1.7 beta versions of the Affinity applications:

When that option is enabled, you need to use the Shift key to cycle among tools that have a common shortcut key, and when you have a tool selected, and press its shortcut key again, you remain on that tool.

Thank you very much!)

Thank you good sir! I am putting a huge amount of work into training myself away from Photoshop and into AP's methods, but that toggle was killing me. I shudder to think how many people tried to switch from Photoshop to AP but were chased away by little changes like this before finding there is a solution!
