Chimes
I close infinity and I'm asked to save the photo edits before I go. I do that and I receive an ".afphoto" file on my computer. I try to open that file with Affinity and I'm told the file is not supported. You heard right, Affinity doesn't support its own files. I am far from happy. Staff Lee D Posted March 13, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 13, 2019 Hi Chimes, Welcome to the forums. Can you confirm which version of the app you're using and on which OS? Can you also confirm the size of the .afphoto by right clicking and selecting Properties(Windows) or Get Info (macOS). Is the file being saved locally to your HDD? firstdefence
Sounds like you have Affinity Photo 1.6 and 1.7 beta. Try opening Affinity Photo 1.6 and dragging the file in to the workspace, if you get a not supported message try opening 1.7 and do the same thing.
