Affinity Publisher Crashing with Linked Text Boxes

I've had it happen a few times on a Double-Facing Spread

Page 1 TextBox 1 --> Page 1 TextBox 2 --> Page 2 TextBox 3.

P1T1 to P1T2 is fine. But P1T2 to P2T3 ... if I click on it, sometimes it crashes. Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm on a MacBook High Sierra.

I can't seem to reproduce a crash, but I am not exactly sure what kind of document you are setting up. So you have a basic document that you can share where this behavior occurs?

I'm sorry; I have a document with that very configuration, but so far I have never experienced that kind of crash. I am using an iMac from 2011 with High Sierra.

I can also state that I have no problem linking text frames in the way Kdog3682 wanted ->    and I have a booklet of 32 pages with a total of 78 linked text frames without any crash occurring. As garretm30 requested earlier could you attach a document with the layout you are having trouble with 

and also which beta you are using?  Hers is my publication shown above     linked text frames.afpub
