Drop Capitals Misaligned

I see what you mean, @Bhikkhu Pesala, but for me it is highly font-dependent. Some fonts work just fine, others are off a little bit. Others are off significantly.

I'm not sure if that's an issue with Publisher or the font definitions, and (unfortunately) I don't know enough about font design to know, nor do I have appropriate tools to try to investigate things like this.

It's APub.

In the below screen shots, first from QXP (but is the same in the other layout applications I use) and the second from APub. Two different fonts and I tried several.
